Genetta Holt is the Bible Study Coordinator at The Answer, coordinating and teaching Bible Studies for the Center. She is a certified Biblical Counselor with a Master’s degree in Communication and over 30 years teaching experience in colleges and universities around the nation. During the last decade, her gift of teaching has been focused on guiding women through the study of God’s Word so that they apply Biblical truths to whatever stage of life they are experiencing. Over the years she has served in a variety of local Christian organizations including Casas Christian School, Pusch Ridge Christian Academy, Young Life, and in her own church, The Journey. Besides teaching, she is passionate about ministry to the adult special needs community and directs a ministry for that population at Journey Church. Genetta’s desire is that all believers live in the reality of Matthew 11:28-29, entering Jesus’ rest, the unforced rhythms of His grace, and living life as His Beloved. “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”
